Have to say I am a nut when it comes to great food. My shape shows it. Yesterday I had the occasion to be in the HEB area on 1431 and 183 and I was pleased to find Smokey Mo's Bar • B • Q. Also was pleased to meet for the first time, Mo, the owner. Didn't have the pleasure of meeting wife Lisa, but if she is anything like Mo, she has to be a fine lady.
As many of you may know, Cedar Park needs a good family oriented sit down restaurant, with all due respect I think there are enough fast foods places. I think this is a good start for more and more.
Well, I just gotta say that I enjoyed eating at Smokey Mo's, the food was exceptional and the service was friendly and efficient, and if you choose to go there, I am sure you will be pleased.
Bottom line is, Cedar Park has a new restaurant and it is "GOOD". I would just say, give them a try and WELCOME them to Cedar Park. I think you will be pleased.

For those of you who slept through junior high Health class (you know who you are) a quick review of the basic food groups; first there's the fruits and vegetables group. Then the dairy group, followed by the meat and fish group, the bread and grains group and then the barbeque group. What? You didn't know that barbeque is a food group? Well, you would if you've eaten barbeque from Smokey Mo's Bar • B • Q.
Smokey Mo's cooks up what is simply the best barbeque I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot.) Whether it's lean brisket, smoky ribs, juicy chicken, the most tender pork loin you'll ever put in your mouth or sausage that would make my Dad (the "Old German" he used to call himself) take notice. Smokey Mo's is … the best.
Do yourself a favor. If you call yourself a Texan, or if you're a Texan wannbe, or if you just love great food … stop what you're doing and head on over to Smokey Mo's right now. Get yourself a combo, any meats will be fine … there's no bad choice. And have a taste of the best barbeque you'll ever have.

Last Saturday was a big day at our dealership. The food you provided was hot, fresh, plentiful and arrived right on time. We had all the condiments, plate, etc. that we needed, so lunch was one of the few things we didn't have to worry about that day.

I want to thank you and your staff for providing excellent food and service for our company functions. You provided food for 600 at our Grand Opening back in August,2003 at our new Cedar Park store on Parmer and Hwy 1431 and on January 31st we had a luncheon for 150 employees and your staff went out of their way to get us exactly what we needed to fit our budget. The food was delivered hot, on time and with a smile. Not to mention, the brisket was great. It was very lean and juicy. The employees loved it and your sauce is the BEST! There's no skimping at Smokey Mo's.
